A brief History
of the Teradata National IT Excellence Awards
Earlier as
a division of NCR, Teradata launched the IT
Excellence Awards in 1997, as part of Pakistan's
Golden Jubilee celebrations, in order to acknowledge
the achievements of IT pioneers; past and present,
who have been instrumental in introducing and
implementing IT in Pakistan.
Talent is
abundant in Pakistan, but Teradata is the only
organization till date who has consistently
given this talent a national and international
platform. Hosting the largest IT Conference
in the country takes a lot of time and commitment,
and Teradata has remained devoted to serving
the people of Pakistan.
Teradata
believes that by holding these awards consistently

talent as well as recognizing the years of efforts
